Parter News: Al Busaidy Mansoor Jamal Names New Practice Head in Oman

One of Oman’s premier commercial law firms has just added to its already strong practice.  Ardeshir Patel  will join the firm as a partner and will lead its Corprate and Commercial departments, according to Zawya.com:

Ardeshir frequently advises developers, lenders, utilities and international consortia bidding for independent power and water projects in the Sultanate.  He also has extensive experience advising on a broad range of commercial law matters such as joint ventures, company formations, mergers and acquisitions, IT agreements, distribution and agency agreements.

While demand does seem to be focused on commercial law, financial services and oil & gas, there are also in-house roles to be had.  However, Oman is in a bit of a slump as are some other Middle East markets, although recruiment seems to be holding steady in Abu Dhabi, even during thee normally slower summer months.  To see what’s on offer in the Gulf, please visit the job search page at Law Aliance.
