1. Senior M&A/Banking & Finance Lawyer, Regional Role – 8PQE+
A highly regarded international financial services company is looking to recruit an additional lawyer to join its Asia region legal team based in Hong Kong. As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for oversight of legal and regulatory affairs, projects and legal policies, and provide legal advice and support for the Asia region.
You should be a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of post qualification
experience. You should have a background in banking/finance/insurance/fund/asset management combined with experience in M&A transactions. Good knowledge of the financial regulatory requirements in the Asia region would be advantageous. This position offers a highly competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
2. In-house Corporate Finance Lawyer – 5-10 PQE+
Our client is a highly respected financial services group which has a global presence with operations and offices in more than 150 countries. It is now seeing a corporate lawyer to join their investment banking division. As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support to complex and cutting-edge corporate transactions with a particular focus on Initial Public Offerings. You will work closely with the business in all phases of each IPO transaction.
You should be a qualified lawyer with 5 – 10 years of post qualification experience. You should have experience in IPOs within a leading financial services company or an international law firm. 3. In-house Opportunity for Banking & Finance Lawyer – 4-7PQE+
Our client is a prominent global financial services company which has a significant footprint in the Asia region. It is now seeking an additional lawyer to join its legal team in Hong Kong. As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support and advice to various internal business units including the project teams, product teams, distribution channels and finance department. You will draft and negotiate a range of contracts and agreements in support of the marketing and sale of various products. You will also provide legal assistance on matters such as employee disputes.
You should be a qualified lawyer with at least of 4 years of legal experience with a leading financial services company. An in-depth understanding of the regulatory issues and requirements in Hong Kong is preferred. This position offers competitive benefits and high growth potential.
